Repetition Exhibition

Project Objective
The goal for this project was to pick two Canadian graphic designers, one contemporary and one historical, and find a correlation between them to create a unique exhibition. 
Research
Burton Kramer
- Canadian graphic designer who worked from 1957-2001.
- Known for designing the CBC logo.
- In his work, he has been able to develop clear, consistent, and dynamic communication through the use of rigorous geometry, meaningful expressiveness, and colourful energy.
Lucas Young
- Contemporary graphic designer based in Toronto.
- He has worked with companies such as Toronto Football Club, Nike, Budweiser, Under Armour, Entertainment Weekly, Vitamin Water, and Red Bull.
- He uses bold illustrations and repeating elements in his work.​​​​​​​
Why Repetition?
The connection between these two designers is their use of repeating elements in their work, making the exhibition that showcases both their works titled Repetition.
